Effects of Streptomycin on The Mitotic Cells of Tradescantia paludosa

Abstract
Streptomycin (25 to 1000 ppm) caused every kind of cytological disruption, which is induced by x-ray irradiation or the action of mutagenic chemicals. The action of streptomycin is considered to be mutagenic, able to induce both minor genic recombinations and major alterations such as translocation or polyploidy.
