Abstract
The second virial coefficients of the mixtures CH4-A and Ne-Kr have been measured at low temperature. The intermolecular parameters ε* and σ have been deduced assuming a 6–12 Lennard-Jones potential. Comparison is made between these results and those obtained from the pure component parameters using the customary combining laws, i.e. arithmetical mean for σ and geometrical mean for ε*.Keywords
