Oral psoralen photochemotherapy of atopic eczema

Abstract
Oral administration of 8-methoxypsoralen followed by exposure to a high-intensity longwave UV treatment system resulted in clearing of atopic eczema in 15 patients. Paired-comparison studies demonstrated that this treatment was superior to conventional UV light therapy and to no treatment.
