Abstract
To what extent does the potentiometric behavior of a typical oxidation-reduction enzyme system resemble that of an inorganic system? Pure xanthine oxidase was chosen as the enzyme and comparison made with TiCl3 in reduction of methylene blue. Close agreement in behavior suggests the possibility of a potentiometric method of following reduction by an oxidase system. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
