Abstract
Fecal samples of some domestic animals were investigated for the occurrence of C. fetus jejuni and Y. enterocolitica. The contamination rate in domestic animals for both bacteria is apparently low. Raw milk, pasteurized milk or ground meat samples were not positive for C. fetus jejuni. Of the raw milk samples, 4% were positive for Y. enterocolitica. Each of the Y. enterocolitica strains belonged to Nilehn''s biotype 1; they were noninvasive. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
