Abstract
Myocardial lesions in rats were induced experimentally by subcutaneous injections of isoproterenol. The histopathological picture of the lesions is described and the similarity of the morphological changes to those due to potassium deficiency is noted. Circulating anti-heart antibodies were not found, presumably due to the scantness of the necrotic process and the rapid healing. Keywords
