Abstract
The time-dependent partial differential equation involved in the theory of the operation of a Clusius thermal diffusion column is discussed. Solutions presented give the concentration of a given isotope at any point in the column as a function of time. Some are compared with experimental results of Nier, and good agreement is obtained. Keywords
