Abstract
Thirteen paramagnetic salts of the iron group in powdered or crystalline form have been investigated for their resonance absorption at microwave frequencies. Effective -factors are obtained from the frequencies and magnetic field strengths at which absorption peaks occur. The effects on line shape from dipole-dipole and exchange interactions, and from the crystalline electric field, have been studied.
