Abstract
Chronic dietary administration of prednisolone to the adult rat caused alteration in morphology and enzyme activity of the small intestinal mucosa. Reduction of villous height, crypt depth, and surface epithelial cell height was accompanied by a significant increase in the specific activity of several jejunal peptidases. Keywords
