Abstract
The case of a 29 yr old man in whom isolated involvement of the appendix with granulomatous colitis or Crohn''s disease manifesting as a cecal mass, is reported. Appendectomy was performed. At operation, the terminal ileum was not grossly involved. Careful long-term follow-up is essential in these patients to detect recurrent disease. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
