Superconducting Behavior of YBa2Cu3O7 under Pressure

Abstract

Superconducting transition temperature (T _c) of YBa₂Cu₃O₇ indicated a slight decreasing tendency, as a whole, with increasing pressure up to 1.75 GPa. A faint maximum of T _c around 0.5 GPa may be correlated with the observed change in the sign of the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance in the normal state.
