Abstract
The general formalism of the first paper in this series is applied to the calculation of the angular distribution of the recoils in muon capture. Only the unique forbidden transitions [spin change , parity change ] are considered. As an example the special case of is discussed. The angular distribution of the recoils depends strongly on the strength of the induced pseudoscalar interaction, but is rather insensitive to the assumption of conserved vector current.
