Abstract
A practical taxonomic system which can be transposed directly into a formal system of taxonomy and nomenclature consisting of tribes and genera by anyone interested in so doing is outlined. Principal divisions and groups are erected upon a biochemical basi6. Subgrouping within the various biochemical groups may be accomplished by means of further biochemical tests or serological characteristics or both.
