Abstract
With a vibrotactile effect as conditioned stimulus and a loud noise as unconditioned stimulus, conditioned responses were established more or less completely in 5 human fetuses during the last 2 gestation months. Experimental extinction, spontaneous recovery, and retention of the response over a 3-weeks'' interval were demonstrated.Keywords
