Ifosfamide and vincristine in paediatric tumours. A phase II study

Abstract

In 25 patients previously treated extensively, ifosfamide with vincristine was used as last resource. Toxicity and antitumour effect were studied. All patients vomited. Haematuria and pancytopenia for more than one week were the main side effects. Thirteen patients responded. Six had a complete response. Four of these are now off therapy. Even although cyclophospha-mide was used in previous protocols, seven out of fourteen patients responded.
