Derivatives of p-aminobenzenesulphonamide in the treatment of streptococcal infection in mice

Abstract
A number of derivatives of p-aminobenzene-sulphonamide were prepared and tested for therapeutic activity in mice infected with streptococci. 2[image]-Pyrrolidone-5[image]-carboxy-4-aminobenzenesulphonamide proved less toxic than the parent substance, and just as active. A number of the others have almost as much activity.
