Abstract
Presented is a survey of recent studies aimed at a fundamental understanding of the important phenomena arising from the flow of aerosol suspensions through granular media. The results of these studies clearly indicate that in spite of the inherent complexities of granular aerosol filtration, studies on the subject can, indeed, lead, on a fundamental level, to results of significant value to practical problems. Keywords
