Abstract
Human bone marrow, both normal and from hemato-poietic diseases, showed a high fibrinolytic activity(labile type activator) in most cases. In individual cases (aplastic apemia, acute myeloblastic leukemia, sideroblastic anemia, and 2 cases of iron deficiency anemia) the amount was reduced. In dogs the activator was confined to the blood forming part of the marrow. Keywords
