Abstract
The permeability properties of the connective tissue are bound to the polymerisation state of the ground substance mucopolysaccharides. They can be valued by skin tests : œdema blebs, spread of dyes. The testicular hyaluronidase depolymerizing the hyaluronic acid instantaneously raises the anti-spread barrier and increases the dyes spread. Cortical extracts, ll-oxy-steroids, corticotropin hormone on the contrary increase the interstitial barrier efficiency and reduce the subcutaneous spread. The anti-phlogistic effects of these hormones are probably the result of the obstacle which they forim to the spread of macro- molecular principles inducing inflammatory reactions.
