Abstract
The first observation of laser induced continuum structure on autoionizing states in both third harmonic generation and ionization is reported for atomic Ca. The possibility of controlling the shape of the induced structure, exhibiting a transition from a dip to a peak, through the laser field intensities is demonstrated. Theoretical time dependent analysis including atomic parameters verifies that the experimental observations originate from laser field dependent coherent interactions. Keywords
