JEJUNAL ALIMENTATION, AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY IN DOGS

Abstract

A diet consisting of 3000 cc. water, 150 gm. cane sugar, 100 gm. dried peptone, 300 gm. wheat flour, 2000 cc. whole milk, 1000 cc. 20% cream (with addition of vitamins) kept jejunal fistula subjects alive[long dash]2 dogs for 1 mo. each, 1 dog for 6 mos. and 3 patients for varying periods of time.
