Abstract
Experimental and theoretical investigations of the linewidth and lineshape of the magnetic dipole electron paramagnetic resonance line for the Ti3+:Al2O3 system are described. It seems that random internal electric fields arising from charged defects in the lattice give the major contribution to the linewidth, but that mosaic and strain effects are also present. Keywords
