Particulate Material in Antihemophilic Factor (AHF) Concentrates

Abstract
AHF [human] concentrates contained noncellular particulate material which was retained by a screen filter of 40.mu. pore size. This material was composed in part of Ig[immunoglobulin]G, fibrinoprotein and cold insoluble globulin. The clinical significance of this material was uncertain, but a possible association with pulmonary and cerebral microemboli is suggested.
