"Gefuegerelief" illustrated by "schist tor" topography in central Otago, New Zealand

Abstract

Isolated blocky outcrops of schist in central Otago, New Zealand, are elongated and aligned in a northwest direction which parallels the lineation of the schist, and are thought to reflect the effect of differential weathering controlled by the rock fabric.
