Abstract
An approximate analytic expression for the spectral density in a Heisenberg paramagnet, obtained from a kinetic theory suggested by the author, is used to calculate the frequency and wavevector‐dependent neutron scattering cross section in RbMnF3. The theoretical predictions are compared with measurements of the neutron scattering cross section at 3.5TN, for various wavevectors throughout the Brillouin zone, and are found to be in good agreement. Keywords
