Abstract
Control of Host Factors through Selection of DriversMany attempts have been made to build tests for the selection of drivers around a variety of perceptual, psychomotor and psychologic characteristics. As would be expected from the discussion in the first section of this report, the results have, in general, been disappointing. The most effective tests are useful chiefly in situations in which a small group of drivers is to be chosen from a large number of candidates. In other words, it would be possible to classify drivers into high, medium and low groups, and to expect different group accident rates. . . .Keywords
