Abstract
The viscosimetric method described is suitable for the determination of enzymatic activity when the substrate is a polyelectrolyte or a polymer to which Staudinger's law is not applicable. It has been tested experimentally for determining the activity of cellulase isolated from Penicillium, with carboxymethylcellulose as substrate. Keywords
