Abstract
The results of a series of 40 cataract extractions with lens implantation performed on day-case patients under local anaesthesia are reported. The ways in which modern surgical techniques have rendered this a safe procedure are described, and the potential benefits of day-case intraocular surgery are discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
