Abstract
At present our knowledge of the host-parasite relationships of the Schistosomatidae and their snail intermediate hosts is meagre. Because this knowledge is necessary in the search for effective therapeutic and control measures it would be useful to find an in vitro procedure facilitating continuous progenesis of schistosomes without the use of a snail host. Keywords
