Shell-Model Fragmentation of theSc49Analog Levels

Abstract
The fragmentation of the Sc49 analog levels is calculated and is shown to result from two-particle, one-hole T< states that include higher energy bound proton contributions. In addition, the damping widths of the fragmented levels due to three-particle, two-hole couplings T and the escape widths T are computed. The theoretical analog-level energies and widths are compared with experiment.
