Abstract
Labeled displaced ganglion cells (DGC) were observed in chick embryos (day 12-18) and hatchlings following discrete tectal injections of horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Average DGC diameter was 10-15 .mu., approximately twice the size of orthotopic ganglion cells. From 6-12 DGC were found per 15 .mu. section. These findings conclusively demonstrated a tectal projection for the DGC.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
