Abstract
It is shown that the techniques of chemical reaction engineering can be applied to electrochemical cells and that these methods give a more complete description of the environment in which the reactions take place. This leads to improved lumped parameter models which are of particular importance when electrogenerated species undergo further reactions as in electrosynthesis. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
