Abstract
Operational sequence diagrams pictorially display information-decision-action sequences within a man-machine system. In its various versions as a time-sequence process chart, a spatial flow chart, and as an adjunct to symbolic logic, the OSD can he used in establishing system requirements, allocating man-machine functions, determining sequence of operations, and in evaluating equipment layouts. Keywords
