Abstract
The solution of the RISM equation for diatomic symmetric molecules as outlined and investigated previously is shown to be well behaved in the zero density limit. All infinite series generated by the solution are shown to be convergent. In particular, one series which determines the low density behaviour of the compressibility equation of state is summed exactly. Keywords
