Hypothermic Myxoedema Coma

Abstract
Summary A further case of myxoedema coma is reported which ended fatally. This appears to be the twentieth case recorded over the past six years. Sixteen of these cases have died. Attention is drawn to the value of recording accurately the body temperature in the diagnosis and treatment of this condition. The difficulties in treatment are stressed, and the danger of overdosage with thyroid is particularly mentioned.
