Abstract
The Medical Research Council has provided funds for a computing service to analyse repertory grids for an experimental period, during which the technical and administrative problems involved in maintaining a regular service can be studied. For this period it is available free of charge to psychiatrists and psychologists engaged on projects which satisfy the conditions laid down by IBM United Kingdom Ltd. for their academic discount scheme. Particulars can be obtained from the author. The article explains the essential difference in the psychological evidence that can be investigated by repertory grid technique and by standardized mental tests. It describes the procedure, illustrates the results and discusses their application. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
