Paramagnetic Resonance Absorption in Praseodymium Trichloride

Abstract
Paramagnetic resonance absorption in crystalline solutions of PrCl3 in LaCl3 has been investigated at a frequency of 2.32×1010 sec1 and at the boiling point of He. The apparent g's, when H is parallel and perpendicular to the c axis have been found to be 1.79 and 3.98 respectively. The results have been discussed in terms of the known crystalline structure and Stark splittings.
