Theorem on Separability of Electron Pairs

Abstract

The theorem that two functions Λ_A(12) and Λ_B(12) span subspaces which are mutually perpendicular if the functions are orthogonal to each other in the strong sense; $${\displaystyle \int }{\Lambda }_A^{*}{\text{(12)Λ}}_B{\text{(13)d}}_{{\tau }_1}\text{=0,}$$ is proved here. The theorem is important for the study of chemical bonds.
