Abstract
The Australian and New Zealand species of Celmisia Cass. (Astereae-Compositae) are grouped into six subgenera with eight sections and eight series. The classification is based on morphological studies of 61 species using 59 vegetative and floral characters. Character states for each species are tabulated and a formal infrageneric scheme is presented. New names proposed are section Pulvinatae and series Angustifoliatae, Linearifoliatae, and Montanae. Keywords
