Abstract
The present study of the blood cholesterol and lipids in patients with angina pectoris of arteriosclerotic origin was prompted by the general interest in the relationship of cholesterol metabolism to the pathogenesis of arteriosclerosis. No systematic study of the cholesterol and lipid constituents of the blood in patients with coronary sclerosis is available in the literature. There are, however, some studies on the cholesterol concentration in the blood of patients with arteriosclerosis.
