Refractivity of Air in the Near Infrared

Abstract
Recent measurements are reported for the refractive index of air in the infrared up to 2 microns. These are both absolute and relative in nature, the latter being more precise. It is concluded that the measurements support the validity of Edlen’s refractivity formula in this region.Keywords
