Abstract
Evidence is presented that menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, cystic mastitis, premenstrual tension and possibly other syndromes related to an excess of estrogen are caused by failure of the liver to inactivate estrogen because of deficiency of the vit. B complex. Adm. of the B complex, in adequate dosage orally, parenterally, or by both routes, led to prompt improvement in these conditions.
