Abstract
Four pedigrees demonstrating simultaneous segregation for the atypical and silent genes for serum cholinesterase are presented. In 2, the relevant analysis extends to 3 generations. The various laboratory methods of diagnosing the presence of the atypical gene are briefly discussed.Keywords
