Abstract
The authors have performed proton and fluorine nuclear relaxation measurements on the spin-Peierls system TTF-AuBDT in magnetic fields below and above the threshold of the field-induced phase transition. They present a calculation of the relaxation rates based on a Luttinger model approach, on the basis of which the data in the dimerised low-field phase are analysed. The results of this model are compared with a perturbative approach used by Ehrenfreund and Smith (1977). The authors calculations yield qualitatively different results and the field dependence of the relaxation rates is described better. Keywords
