Weights of Organs in Sixty-Six Male Macaca Mulatta Monkeys

Abstract
Autopsies were performed on 66 male Macaca mulatta monkeys. which were divided into 5 body weight groups. Organs from these animals were carefully weighed, and these weights were compared with body weight and stage of spermatogenesis to correlate organ weight with level of maturity. This study reveals that with the exception of the pituitary, and possible the adrenal glands, a positive correlation exists between body weight and stage of spermatogenesis.
