Abstract
In giving wool yarns a temporary set it has been observed that, although some tendency to snarl is removed by wetting, a considerably greater effect is obtained during the subsequent drying period. This effect was found to be reversible. The present paper gives an account of the detailed investigation of this property for cow's-tail fibres. Similar tests were carried out on nylon monofil and on rubber.Keywords
