Abstract
Science does not yet differentiate between B. coli from various animal sources. Water showing fecal contaminatin may not have been polluted by man, and may be free from typhoid, paratyphoid, dysentery, etc. Condemnation as well as approval, therefore, should always be very carefully considered.Keywords
