Type specimens of New Zealand Mesozoic and Cainozoic spores and pollen grains

Abstract

The exact location on the slides and the size of the holotypes of Couper's species of fossil spores from New Zealand are given, together with details of publication dates and preparation methods. Lectotypes are chosen to replace some holotypes that have been lost.
