Abstract
Yeast [Saccharomyces cerevisiae] sterol mutants exposed to crystal violet demonstrated greater dye uptake than the wild type [indicating altered membrane permeability]. Exposure for 10 min to hypertonic cation solutions showed a greater decrease in cell viability for mutants than for wild type.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
