Abstract
Measurements have been made of the thermal activation energy of PbSe evaporated films at various stages of sensitization treatment. For the highly sensitized film the thermal activation energy was found to be 0.29 eV, which corresponds to the photoconductive threshold. This result has been interpreted as support for the `numbers' theory of photoconductivity. Keywords
